Fashion Show: Waste Not

Art 145 supports the arts in Superior by hosting events, providing classes, and selling art.

This year's Fashion Show is titled Waste Not, alluding to the common saying "Waste not, want not" meaning we will not have the desire for new things if we are able to keep the old in circulation, and emphasizing the 'waste not' component, as these fashion items are often unrecognizeable as what they once were. Many of the items you will see at this fashion show were upcycled from clothing purchased at Thrift 145, the local secondhand shop run by Art 145. Other items were created from scratch, and all items were created sustainably in one way or another. You will not only be impressed by the creativity of our artists, but you will learn ways you too can consume fashion in a thoughtful way.
