About the event
Join us on the Legends of Superior Trail, walking along the beautiful and historic old Highway 60. We will meet at Art 145, and walk with our sketchbooks along the LOST trail to the old Queen Creek tunnel, built in 1926. This walk is about 5 miles, with 700ft. of elevation change, so bring some good walking shoes, and sun protection!
We will stop a few times along the trail to sketch the scenery; please bring your own sketchbook, or we will have some for sale at Art 145, and you are welcome to use any of the sketching utensils in our Member Tool Shed. This is a free event for Art 145 members, or you may join for just $13! You will be guided by an Art 145 representative, giving some pointers on how to frame your sketch, but you are welcome to sketch whatever and however you like.
