Pottery Olympics

Spectators and Potters, welcome to the Pottery Olympics — a gloriously muddy celebration of clay, creativity, chaos, and questionable ceramic decisions. Participants will compete in a series of wheel throwing, handbuilding, and team challenges ranging from impressive feats of craftsmanship to completely ridiculous games of skill. Whether you’re a seasoned ceramic artist or someone who just likes getting your hands dirty, there will be challenges for every experience level and plenty of chances to win trophies, medals, and eternal studio glory. Spectators are encouraged to cheer dramatically, admire catastrophic collapses, and celebrate unexpected victories. Teams, costumes, friendly trash talk, and over-the-top Olympic energy are highly encouraged. The goal is not perfection — it’s creativity, bravery, and having an unforgettable time in the studio together. Come ready to compete, collaborate, laugh, and leave covered in clay.
