Kids Sewing: Plushies

This class is a great class for kids who will behave safely with a sewing needle. Adults are also welcome to sign up! You will be taught the basic techniques for sewing by hand, while being creative with designing your own stuffed character! Your teacher, Maya Barton, will guide you through coming up with fun character ideas, how to make simple patterns, and how to sew at a beginner level.

If you're a parent and want to stay with your kid during the class, just let us know and we will make sure there is a chair ready for you, but you are welcome to leave your kid with us along with your contact info.

All materials are included but feel free to bring old socks or fabric with a fun pattern. We want to make sure you are able to experiment with new art forms without having to buy every gadget and supply.
