Free Figure Drawing

No matter what your skill level, drawing from a live figure is a blast. Your instructors will vary from professional artists to other classmates. Bert Archer or Maya Barton will usually be present to guide you. You will learn about shadows, charcoal techniques, composition, and more. At the end of the class you will learn the value of a constructive critique.

All materials are included but feel free to bring yout own favorite tools if you like. You are also encouraged to donate $20 to help pay our model and keep Art 145 around.  We want to make sure you are able to experiment with new art forms without having to buy every gadget and supply.

Coming up on January 27th we will be having a gallery exhibition reception for the Figure Drawing Students! This is the last class you can take to draw something for the exhibition! If you have work you would like to show, please drop it off with us by January 24th. All drawings are accepted, as long as they were started in our Figure Drawing classes and based on our models.

Figure Drawing will be free until March, and then it will transform into "Figure Drawing Club," free for members. This means you can buy a $12 day pass to attend the class (still equiped with a knowledgeable instructor), or sign up for one of our monthly memberships! Doing so will give you access to all of our members clubs for free!
