Get creative with clay and make a garlic keeper that’s completely your own! In this hands-on handbuilding class, you’ll learn how to combine slabs, coils, and other simple ceramic techniques to create a functional garlic keeper in whatever style inspires you.

Your piece can be rustic and earthy, bright and colorful, whimsical and sculptural, sleek and modern—or anything in between. Experiment with shape, texture, handles, lids, cutouts, and decorative details while learning how to create a functional ceramic vessel that allows your garlic to breathe.

We’ll explore different approaches to construction and glazing, but there are no rigid design rules. The goal is to develop your own ideas, have fun with the process, and embrace the wonderfully imperfect nature of handmade ceramics.

No previous ceramics experience is necessary. All tools are included, and clay is an additional $2/lb.
