Batik Dyeing

Batik is a fabric dyeing technique dating from the 12th Century, and continues to be used today. Learning from artist and musician Steve Mitchell, you will love this unique dyeing technique that uses wax and ink to create intricate patterns.

All materials are included in the ticket, but if you have muslin or other fabric you would like to try dyeing, feel free to bring them. You may also come prepared with a few design ideas so you can jump right in.
