Become and explorer in this month long course!
This club just for kids will teach them creative ways to be an explorer of the world! Your child will be learning new and fun ways to document their adventures, observe the world in new ways, and come together as a team to share their findings!
BECOME AND EXPLORER OF THE WORLD!
This month-long club will be a blast for your kids! (okay, okay, adults can join too) Adventurers will explore fun and creative ways to look at the world, and present their findings in unique ways! In this club, we meet twice a week to go on adventures at Art 145 guided by assigned Navigators. At the end of this month-long club, your child (or you) will be working with the other adventurers to display their most interesting findings from the month, and present them in creative ways for an exhibition on January 13th!
For adventurers signing up for the whole month, they will get an Explorer Bag including Keri Smith's book "How to be an explorer of the world" and other fun exploration tools. They will also be adding their own exploration tools such as make-believe magnifying glasses, handmade log-books, and adventure maps!
Pay for each adventure individually for $12 a day, or pay for the entire month for only $10 a day! This is the most affordable price we have ever offered for any classes or clubs, so don't miss out! You only have to come to one adventure to be able to show your findings in the exhibition on January 13th!
On Friday, January 13th, join us for the reception of the Adventure Club's exhibition. Our artist receptions are always free, and you will enjoy meeting the Adventurers and their Navigators, snacking on food and refreshments, and of course viewing neat artistic displays. For this exhibition, our Adventure Club that runs from December 10th to January 7th will be showcasing their findings from the month. This exhibition will be fully curated by the Adventurers, with help from the Navigators and Art 145's curator, with emphasis on them creating their own fun ways to display their work.
Stop by from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on January 13th!
